Historic charm for architecture lovers
I loved the atmosphere, it had that old-world charm. The grand staircase was a fine reminder of how things used to be.
It wasn't exactly wallet-friendly but it was still acceptable for the experience.

The room was brand-new and extremely pleasant with private bathroom and MAGNIFICENT views. Location: the hotel was just off most bus stations, Mayan co-ops, and cheap food and the outlying areas. The place was next door to Amaro, where you can have dinner.
Facilities were modern, yet Wi-Fi signal was not good.

I loved the elegant old-world charm with the fine marble staircase and the beautiful courtyard that seemed like stepping back in time. It was relaxing to unwind in the sun terrace and take a stroll around the lovely garden area.
